May Madaaris ad Makaatib have bee cotemplatig icludig this book ito the curriculum. However sice the book is quite volumious, (each of the three volumes cosists of approximately 600 pages) icludig it i the curriculum of the Makaatib i its curret from was difficult. Hece a eed arose to abridge the origial text ito oe volume thus makig it easier for the public as well as studets to beefit from it.

The Jamiatul Ulama (KZN) Ta’limi Board took up the task, with the grace ad mercy of Allah Ta’ala, to abridge the preset book, focusig more o the life of our beloved Nabi e ad omittig the scholarly discussios of various issues that are derived from the oble seerah.
