All Praise is due only to Allah Rabbul Izzat, Creator and Sustainer of all the worlds. He Who blessed mankind with the bounty of our beautiful Deenul Islam, through His Kalaam -The Qur’aan Majeed, which was revealed to our beloved Nabi Muhammed, via the greatest of angels – Hadhrat Jibreel.

The language chosen by Allah Ta’ala in the Qur’aan Majeed and the native tongue of our Noble Rasulullah was Arabic. This is also the language that will be spoken by the inhabitants of Jannah.

It is imperative that students of Deen learn (master) this beautiful language, so that they may better understand the Qur`aan Majeed and Ahaadith Shareef. The classical works of Deen have also been authored in the Arabic language.

In this regard, the book in your hand Al Qiraa’atur Raashida, which was originally authored in the Arabic language, by a luminary amongst the Indo-Pak Ulama, Hadhrat Moulana Sayyid Abul Hasan Ali Hasani An-Nadwi, was done to aid the beginner in the Arabic Language.

The author used classical Arabic, interspersed with modern-day Arabic words, to allow the students a solid grounding in the pursuit of the language. The book has an Islamic ethos, with stories from Islamic history and also excerpts that teach Islamic etiquette and guidance for youngsters to live their lives in accordance with the Sunnah. In essence, this book deals with grammar, vocabulary, adab (manners), and Islamic personalities.

It is widely used in universities and Darul Ulooms in the Arab world, India, UK, South Africa, USA and Pakistan, etc.
